where does this lead? mighty melancholy hovers
as the shadowless happiness is accompanied
by the uncertainty of the unrequited
and the certainty that all experience, is but a fleeting moment
well isn’t it safe to assume. that nothing else will follow
be sad now, if that’s what it takes to be happy
the fight for glory and eternal happiness
for love
is without thought, a fool’s game
but he’d’ve fought the bravest, who fought like a fool
who believed like a child the simplest of truths
and he’d’ve known what was worth doing
and he’d’ve made everyday worth living
in order to reach a death worth dying.
for three words that never needed expounding.
and on his way to glory, not a day was wasted
and in his fight for happiness, every day knew sadness
for he knew the truth.
and he knew the reason to be happy:
“you will never be lovelier than you are now, we will never be here again”
