Why and How

Published on April 1, 2011 8:03:00 PM

If many scientists weren’t so keen on being atheists, I think humanity would’ve gone far discovering (appreciating) the ‘why’ of reality, and not just the 'how’ which scientists are currently concentrating on. If many scientists weren’t so keen on being atheists, they would see that the 'how’ would not be so dis-harmonic with the 'why’ - the 'how’ would strengthen the 'why’, and the 'why’ would strengthen the 'how’. It’s all around us, the why and the how are not so opposite. The beauty of human existence, the beauty of life, the beauty of the laws of nature, the beauty of the play between order and chaos in the cosmos and the nanos, the vastness of the universe, and the wonder that it induces - if many scientists weren’t so keen on being atheists, they would be the first ones who would be shouting and singing in praise for the glory of God, the Creator of everything that science studies.
